Child Care Vouchers

The childcare voucher scheme allows parents to pay for childcare in a different way through payroll and salary sacrifice, giving income tax (employee) and National Insurance (employee and employer) savings.

For parents without access to childcare vouchers payment for childcare has traditionally been via cash, direct debit, standing order or cheque. In 2005 the Government announced that childcare vouchers would be exempt from income tax and National Insurance. Under  the childcare voucher scheme parents can continue to use exactly the same childcare provision whilst saving significant amounts of money.

We provide for the procurement of childcare vouchers for registered childcare professionals for all employees over the age of 16. The scheme includes vouchers for:

  • Child-minders
  • Nurseries
  • Nannies
